Truck Driver CDL A Shuttle

Ryder System is hiring a CDL A Shuttle Truck Driver to safely move trailers and freight between Ryder facilities and customer locations. In this role, you'll operate late-model equipment, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and follow all DOT and Ryder safety standards. You'll run consistent shuttle routes, manage logs and paperwork, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time moves. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor to shuttle trailers between facilities and customer locations
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with all DOT, company, and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required delivery paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and route issues
• Secure freight and ensure proper trailer placement at docks and yards
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, or safety hazards promptly
• Provide professional, courteous service to internal and external customers
