The YMCA seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to support young children and families through developmental screening, coaching, and family-centered services. In this role, you will assess developmental needs, create individualized plans, and provide home- and community-based interventions that promote growth and inclusion. You will collaborate with families, educators, and community partners, connect families to resources, and uphold the YMCA's mission-driven, diverse, and community-focused culture while advancing youth development and healthy living.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental screenings and assessments for infants and young children.
  • Develop and implement individualized early intervention plans with families.
  • Provide home- and community-based coaching to caregivers to support child development.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and mandated records.
  • Facilitate family education workshops and connect families to community resources.
  • Support YMCA mission, values, and inclusion-focused programming.
