Boston Children's Hospital seeks a dedicated Teacher for our Child Care Center in Boston, MA. In this role, you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences for young children, maintain a safe and nurturing classroom, and support social-emotional growth. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum for young children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment aligned with hospital and state regulations.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through daily activities and routines.
- Collaborate with families, clinicians, and center staff to coordinate care and educational goals.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and communicate updates to families.
- Implement health, safety, and infection-control protocols consistent with a pediatric healthcare setting.
- Adapt activities to meet diverse needs, including children with medical or developmental considerations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and trainings required by the hospital and EEC.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom community.
- Assist with daily care routines such as meals, rest, and transitions.
