Kohler is seeking a Tax Analyst II to support U.S. indirect tax compliance for its global manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file U.
  • S. indirect tax returns (sales, use, and related taxes) for multiple jurisdictions accurately and on time.
  • Analyze manufacturing and multi-state transactions to ensure proper indirect tax treatment and identify potential tax exposures.
  • Support tax audits by gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues with state and local authorities.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and IT to improve tax data quality, system configurations, and process efficiencies.
  • Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and regulations and assist in implementing compliant practices.
  • Reconcile tax accounts, perform variance analysis, and support monthly/quarterly close activities.
  • Assist with tax research and special projects related to business expansions, new products, and systems implementations.
  • Help maintain and enhance tax engines, ERP tax settings, and indirect tax compliance tools.
  • Document and improve standard operating procedures for indirect tax processes.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams reflecting Kohler's focus on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
