Reconditioning Center Vehicle Inspector
Walser Automotive Group is seeking a Reconditioning Center Vehicle Inspector to support our high-volume, negotiation-free retail model. In this role, you will thoroughly inspect incoming used vehicles, assessing cosmetic, structural, and basic mechanical condition to ensure each unit is safe, accurately represented, and ready for reconditioning. You'll document findings using digital tools, capture condition photos, and collaborate closely with technicians and managers to prioritize repair work. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position in a production-style environment, ideal for detail-oriented candidates with automotive knowledge who value integrity, teamwork, and clear processes. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed interior, exterior, and mechanical inspections on incoming used vehicles
- Document cosmetic and mechanical issues using inspection checklists and digital tools
- Identify safety concerns and compliance issues and flag units for further review
- Capture photos and condition notes to support accurate pricing and reconditioning plans
- Collaborate with technicians, service advisors, and managers on repair priorities
- Verify completion and quality of reconditioning work before vehicles move to retail
- Maintain high accuracy, speed, and consistency in a fast-paced production environment
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection area
