Used Vehicle Inventory Manager

Walser Automotive Group seeks a Used Vehicle Inventory Manager for Bloomington Chrysler Jeep Dodge. In this on-site role, you'll own the strategy and execution of all used vehicle inventory: sourcing from trades, auctions, and wholesalers; setting data-driven pricing; and optimizing mix, age, and turn. You'll coordinate closely with sales and service to streamline reconditioning and ensure vehicles are retail-ready with accurate online listings. You'll track key metrics, report performance, and support Walser's one-price, customer-first model while growing your career in a modern, integrity-focused dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of used vehicle inventory for Bloomington Chrysler Jeep Dodge, ensuring optimal mix, age, and turn.
• Develop and adjust pricing and merchandising strategies using market data and inventory tools to maximize volume and gross.
• Source vehicles via trade-ins, auctions, and wholesalers, maintaining strong vendor relationships and disciplined appraisals.
• Coordinate closely with sales, F&I, and service to streamline reconditioning timelines and readiness for retail.
• Monitor key performance metrics (turn rate, days in stock, gross, acquisition costs) and report results to leadership.
• Ensure accurate vehicle descriptions, photos, and online listings across digital retail and marketing channels.
• Oversee appraisal processes and support sales team with inventory knowledge and deal structure guidance.
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies, brand standards, and applicable regulations in all inventory activities.
