Refrigeration Foreman

CoolSys is seeking a Refrigeration Foreman to lead field crews installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems on construction projects. You will plan daily work, coordinate materials and subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects to quality and schedule standards. The Foreman will interpret plans, oversee start-ups and troubleshooting, and mentor technicians. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and offers technical training, growth potential, and the chance to support energy-efficient, mission-critical HVAC-R systems nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise refrigeration installation and service crews on construction projects
• Plan daily work, allocate labor, and coordinate materials and equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and submittals for refrigeration systems
• Oversee installation, piping, wiring, and system start-up/commissioning
• Troubleshoot and resolve refrigeration and control issues in the field
• Communicate with project managers, GCs, and customers on progress and issues
• Train and mentor technicians and apprentices to build technical capability
• Verify quality of workmanship and compliance with company and industry standards
• Document work performed, maintain job records, and support closeout activities
