Ready Mix Driver

Knife River is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to safely deliver concrete to construction sites in the Bismarck area. In this role, you'll operate and inspect mixer trucks, load and unload concrete, and follow strict safety and DOT regulations. You'll work closely with dispatch and site crews to ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining equipment and completing required logs. This position offers steady, hands-on work, training, and advancement in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment building critical infrastructure in the community.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
• Load, transport, and unload concrete while maintaining proper mix and slump
• Follow all DOT, company, and site safety rules and procedures
• Communicate with dispatch, batch plant, and site crews for timely deliveries
• Complete required logs, tickets, and delivery documentation
• Assist with plant or yard duties as needed to support operations
• Use PPE and maintain a clean, safe vehicle and work area
