Roll Off CDL Driver
Waste Connections is hiring a Roll Off CDL Driver to support our essential waste and recycling operations. In this role, you will safely operate roll-off trucks to transport containers between customer locations, transfer stations, and landfills, focusing on safety, reliability, and environmental stewardship. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, securing and tarping loads, maintaining accurate DOT logs, and following assigned routes and schedules. You'll interact with residential, commercial, and industrial customers, delivering respectful, professional service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to transport containers between customer sites, landfills, and transfer stations
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
- Secure and tarp loads to ensure safe, compliant transport of non-hazardous waste and recyclables
- Follow designated routes and schedules while meeting service and safety standards
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to address service needs and resolve issues on route
- Adhere to DOT, company, and local environmental regulations and safety policies
- Report equipment issues or hazards and coordinate with maintenance for repairs
- Provide professional, respectful customer service on residential, commercial, and industrial sites
