Ready Mix Driver

Knife River is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to safely transport and deliver concrete to construction sites in the Bismarck area. You'll operate and inspect mixer trucks, follow DOT and company safety standards, and ensure accurate, timely deliveries to customers. Duties include pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, communicating with dispatch and crews, and cleaning equipment. Ideal candidates have driving experience, strong safety awareness, good customer service, and the ability to work outdoors and in varying weather as part of a reliable, team-focused crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to local construction sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate with dispatch and site crews to coordinate delivery timing and placement
• Adjust mix consistency on site within guidelines and project requirements
• Maintain truck cleanliness, including drum washout and basic upkeep
• Assist with yard duties and plant support as needed
• Provide courteous, professional customer service on jobsites

• CDL Class B or A with airbrake endorsement
