Driver

Gypsum Supply Company seeks a dependable Driver to deliver drywall, steel studs, insulation, and related materials to contractors across Michigan. In this field-based role, you'll safely operate company trucks, load and unload products, and verify orders for accuracy while following DOT and company safety standards. You'll interact directly with builders and site crews, representing our family-owned, service-focused culture. This position offers hands-on experience with building materials and logistics, with opportunities to grow into operations, sales, or management in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver drywall, steel, insulation, and related materials to customer job sites
• Load and unload building materials using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices
• Verify orders, delivery documents, and material counts for accuracy before and after delivery
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues
• Follow DOT, company, and site safety rules, including securing loads and using PPEProvide courteous, professional service to contractors and site crews, addressing basic delivery needs
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams on routes, schedules, and order changes
• Maintain clean, organized vehicles and assist in yard or warehouse tasks as needed
