Truck Driver

GTS Interior Supply seeks a safety-focused Truck Driver to deliver drywall, steel, insulation, and related materials to job sites across the region. In this hands-on role, you will safely operate CDL trucks, load and unload materials using forklifts or boom equipment, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to contractors. You'll complete pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and job site safety rules, and provide professional, customer-focused service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver drywall, steel, insulation, and related materials to job sites
• Load and unload building materials using forklifts, boom or flatbed equipment while following safety protocols
• Verify orders, collect signatures, and provide professional, customer-focused service on each delivery
• Inspect vehicles and equipment, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and report maintenance issues
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and job site safety rules at all times
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to plan efficient delivery routes and resolve delivery issues

Required Skills

• Commercial driving (Class A or B CDL)
• Safe operation of flatbed and/or boom trucks
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and logbooks/ELDs
• Forklift and material handling equipment operation
• Load securement (chains, straps, tarps)
• Reading and understanding delivery tickets and manifests
• Basic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance
• Back-up and tight-space maneuvering skills
• Customer service and communication
• Using GPS/routing and basic mobile dispatch tools
