ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking a skilled Residential Wireman to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in single-family homes and light residential projects. You'll perform rough-in, trim-out, panel work, and service upgrades while ensuring NEC compliance and a safety-first mindset. This role requires professional interaction with homeowners, accurate documentation, and coordination with HVAC and plumbing teams. Responsibilities

  • Install, rough-in, and trim-out residential electrical systems in new and existing homes
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including circuits, outlets, lighting, and service panels
  • Perform service upgrades, panel changes, and code-compliant corrections per NEC standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job specifications
  • Ensure strict adherence to ARS/Rescue Rooter safety policies and OSHA requirements on every job
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, explaining findings and recommended solutions
  • Coordinate with HVAC and plumbing teams to complete multi-trade projects efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and time on site
  • Operate and maintain electrical tools, test instruments, and company vehicle in good condition
  • Participate in ongoing training and support junior team members as needed
