HVAC Installation Technician

Will Fix It Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to join our residential service team in San Antonio. In this role, you'll install and replace HVAC systems in homes, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant operation. You'll read blueprints, set equipment, run refrigerant and condensate lines, and perform system start-up and testing. You'll interact directly with homeowners, explaining work performed and basic system operation while representing our customer-first, professional culture. Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners
• Perform start-up, testing, and calibration to ensure safe, efficient system performance
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose installation-related issues and complete corrections or adjustments on-site
• Follow safety procedures, codes, and company standards on every job
• Maintain accurate job documentation, forms, and basic material/parts inventory on the truck
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about work performed and system operation
• Coordinate with dispatch and team members to meet schedule and quality targets
