Driver

GMS Company is seeking a dependable Driver to safely deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites. In this Transportation & Logistics role, you'll operate CDL trucks, load and secure wallboard, steel framing, ceilings, and insulation, and provide reliable, customer-focused service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to transport building materials to commercial and residential job sites
• Load, secure, and unload wallboard, steel framing, ceilings, insulation, and related materials
• Follow all DOT, company safety, and driving regulations; complete daily pre/post-trip inspections
• Provide courteous, professional service and maintain strong relationships with customers and site crews
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required
• Report vehicle issues, safety hazards, and delivery problems promptly to supervisors
• Assist with basic vehicle cleanliness and minor upkeep to ensure readiness for routes

Required Skills
