HVAC Service Tech

ARS/Rescue Rooter is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. In this field-based role, you'll respond to scheduled and emergency calls, troubleshoot equipment, perform seasonal tune-ups, and ensure all work meets safety, code, and quality standards. You'll represent our safety-first, customer-focused culture, clearly explain repair options, and complete accurate service documentation. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventive maintenance services.
• Interpret work orders, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, code, and company standards.
• Communicate findings, repair options, and pricing to customers clearly.
• Complete accurate service tickets and documentation using mobile tools.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean working order.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours rotation as needed.
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet service goals.
• Promote maintenance plans and approved upgrades when appropriate.
