Truck Driver

Ohio Valley Drywall Supply - Stow seeks a dependable Truck Driver to deliver drywall, steel framing, insulation, and related building materials to contractors across Northeast Ohio. In this safety focused role, you'll operate company trucks, load and secure materials, and assist with unloading at job sites. You'll complete inspections, maintain basic delivery paperwork or electronic logs, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. The position offers steady, hands on work in a close knit team, daily customer interaction, and opportunities to grow in logistics and delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company flatbed or boom trucks to deliver drywall, steel, insulation, and related products to customer job sites
• Load and secure materials safely using proper equipment and safety practices
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety rules and regulations
• Verify orders, obtain delivery confirmations, and handle basic paperwork or electronic logs
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries
• Assist with unloading materials on site, including boom/hoist operation where required
• Provide courteous, professional service and represent the company positively to contractors and builders
