Driver

GTS Interior Supply is seeking a dependable Driver to deliver drywall, steel framing, insulation, and related materials to commercial and residential job sites. In this hands-on role, you'll safely operate company delivery trucks, secure and inspect loads, and assist with loading/unloading using proper material handling techniques. You'll represent GTS at customer sites, providing professional, courteous service while following all DOT and company safety standards. When not on the road, you may assist in the yard or warehouse. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery trucks to transport building materials to job sites
• Load and unload drywall, steel framing, insulation, and related products using proper material handling techniques
• Verify orders, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Follow DOT, company, and site-specific safety rules and procedures at all times
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and warehouse teams regarding delivery status
• Assist with routing, securing loads, and maintaining clean, organized vehicles
• Support warehouse and yard operations as needed between deliveries

Required Skills

• Commercial driving and maneuvering in tight job sites
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
• Load securement with straps, chains, and blocking
• Forklift and material handling equipment operation
• Reading and following delivery tickets, manifests, and basic maps/GPSBasic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance checks
• Safe lifting and team-lift techniques for heavy materials
• Customer service and professional communication
• Time management and route planning
• Use of electronic logs or handheld delivery devices
