Delivery Driver CDL

GMS Company is seeking a dependable CDL Delivery Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this field-based role, you will safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver wallboard, ceilings, steel framing, insulation, and related materials to commercial and residential job sites. Responsibilities include loading, securing, transporting, and unloading product, completing DOT-compliant inspections and logs, and providing professional, courteous service to customers. You'll work in a collaborative, safety-focused culture with opportunities for growth, hands-on industry experience, and career advancement across our North American network.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL commercial vehicles to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites
• Load, secure, and unload wallboard, ceilings, steel framing, and related products using proper material-handling equipment
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Follow DOT, company safety, and customer site regulations at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
• Assist in verifying orders, reporting shortages or damages, and resolving basic delivery issues
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report needed maintenance promptly
• Support teammates in the yard or warehouse as needed to meet delivery schedules
