Truck Driver

Gypsum Supply Company is seeking a safety-focused Truck Driver to deliver drywall, steel studs, insulation, and related building materials to contractors across Michigan. In this hands-on role, you will safely operate company trucks, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure and unload loads at job sites, and provide reliable, courteous service to builders and crews. You'll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams in a family-owned, team-oriented environment, gaining product and logistics knowledge with opportunities to grow into operations, sales, or management in a stable wholesale trade company.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver drywall, steel, insulation, and related materials
• Verify load accuracy against delivery tickets and secure materials for transport
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
• Follow DOT and company safety policies, including load securement and PPE use
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and customers regarding delivery status
• Assist with unloading and stocking materials at job sites as required
• Maintain clean, well-kept vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately and on time
