HVAC Service Technician
ARS/Rescue Rooter is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Memphis-based team. In this field role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, delivering safe, reliable comfort solutions. You'll perform troubleshooting, system tune-ups, and component replacements while following all safety and code requirements. Working within a customer-focused, safety-first culture, you'll use your technical skills, mobile dispatch tools, and strong communication to educate customers and provide options. ARS/Rescue Rooter offers stable, year-round work, ongoing training, and clear paths for advancement into leadership within a national service network.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and system tune-ups
- Install and replace HVAC components and equipment as needed
- Follow all safety, code, and company compliance standards
- Communicate findings, options, and pricing to customers clearly
- Complete work orders and documentation via mobile systems
- Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet service goals
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition
- Provide on-call or after-hours service as scheduled
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
