Trial Attorney

Responsibilities

• Represent Zurich in litigation involving insurance and financial services matters
• Develop case strategy, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex coverage and liability issues
• Manage a litigation docket from inception through resolution or trial
• Engage in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk and dispute strategy
• Collaborate with claims, underwriting, and risk teams on case assessment
• Coordinate with outside counsel and expert witnesses when required
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court rules
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the legal team
