Construction Sheet Metal Foreman

Lee Company is seeking an experienced Construction Sheet Metal Foreman to lead commercial and industrial projects across the Southeast. In this field-based role, you will supervise sheet metal crews, coordinate installation of ductwork and HVAC components, read blueprints, and ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and safety goals. You'll enforce OSHA and company safety standards, mentor apprentices, collaborate with project managers and other trades, and represent our family-oriented, people-first culture on every jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead sheet metal crews on commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring work meets plans, codes, and Lee Company standards.
• Coordinate daily tasks, manpower, and materials; read and interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings.
• Oversee installation, fabrication, and rigging of sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and related HVAC components.
• Inspect work for quality, safety, and accuracy; enforce company and OSHA safety policies and conduct jobsite safety meetings.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to plan schedules and resolve field issues.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate sheet metal installers and apprentices, promoting career growth and skills development.
• Track productivity, report progress, and assist with change orders, field measurements, and as-built documentation.
• Operate and oversee use of tools, equipment, lifts, and fabrication resources safely and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and inspectors, representing Lee Company's values on site.
• Support continuous improvement, technology adoption, and adherence to company procedures and quality standards.
