Director, Learning & Development

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. seeks a Director, Learning & Development to build and lead an enterprise-wide L&D strategy for our manufacturing organization. This role designs and oversees training programs for plant, front-line, and corporate teams, including safety, compliance, leadership, and technical skills. The Director partners with operations and HR to assess needs, create curricula, and implement blended learning solutions. Responsibilities include managing LMS and content, measuring training effectiveness, developing career pathways, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business and manufacturing goals.
• Design and oversee training programs for safety, compliance, technical, and leadership skills across plant and corporate teams.
• Partner with operations, HR, and site leaders to assess training needs and prioritize learning initiatives.
• Implement and manage an LMS, including content curation, delivery, and reporting.
• Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, assessments, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop career pathways and leadership development programs to support talent pipelines and succession planning.
• Standardize and document training processes and materials across multiple locations.
• Manage L&D budget, vendors, and external training partners.
• Ensure training programs support a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Champion a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability across the organization.
