Experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic

Lee Company is seeking an Experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, fabricate, and repair sheet metal ductwork and assemblies on commercial and industrial construction projects. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, assemble and hang duct systems, and ensure code-compliant, high-quality installations with a strong focus on safety. Work closely with project managers and other trades, mentor helpers, and use modern tools and technology. Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and fittings for commercial and industrial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan layout and installation
• Measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal using hand and power tools and shop equipment
• Install and support duct systems, hangers, and related HVAC components to code and company standards
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing sheet metal systems as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all Lee Company and OSHA safety procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet schedules and quality goals
• Train and mentor apprentices and helpers on proper installation and safety practices
