Preschool Assistant Teacher

The YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids seeks a compassionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in the planning and implementing of daily educational activities based on the YMCA's curriculum guidelines.
• Support the emotional and social development of children, encouraging understanding and respect.
• Monitor children to ensure their health, safety, and physical well-being.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development and daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the classroom and other related facilities.
• Collaborate with other team members to foster a supportive and engaging environment for both children and staff.
