Production Manager

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations in our prepared foods manufacturing facility. This role oversees multiple lines to ensure safety, food quality, and production goals are consistently met. You will plan labor and materials, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Production Manager coaches and develops a diverse team, partners closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, and champions a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork that reflects Reser's family-founded values.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, yield, and schedule targets
• Plan and allocate labor, materials, and equipment for multiple production lines
• Implement and sustain food safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards
• Monitor KPIs, analyze variances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Coach, train, and develop production supervisors and frontline employees
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues quickly
• Enforce a strong safety culture and conduct regular safety audits and meetings
• Support staffing, performance reviews, and corrective actions in line with HR policies
• Optimize processes to reduce waste, downtime, and costs while improving throughput
• Collaborate with leadership on production planning, capital projects, and best practices
