Heritage-Crystal Clean LLC seeks a Sr. HR Business Partner to support leaders across our environmental and industrial service operations. This role will align HR strategy with business objectives, driving workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. The Sr. HRBP will advise managers on employee relations, performance, and compliance, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities include guiding change initiatives, supporting recruitment, interpreting policies, and leveraging HR metrics to improve engagement, retention, and culture in a safety-focused, customer-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic HR partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with operational and environmental service goals
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management to support growth
- Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation
- Lead talent management activities including succession planning, development planning, and career paths
- Support recruitment strategies and selection for key roles in operations, field services, and corporate functions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and safety and environmental regulations
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, recommend solutions, and improve engagement and retention
- Drive adoption of HR programs including compensation, benefits, and recognition initiatives
- Partner with leadership on culture, inclusion, and communication initiatives to reinforce company values
- Support HR process improvement and implementation of HR systems, tools, and best practices
