Mechanic

Heritage-Crystal Clean LLC seeks a Mechanic to repair and maintain parts cleaning and environmental service equipment. You'll diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant operation of systems handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, documentation, and supporting field and facility operations. Work within a safety-focused, environmentally responsible culture while building expertise in regulatory compliance, sustainability, and industrial services across a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on parts cleaning and environmental service equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform corrective repairs safely and efficiently
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance
• Follow company, OSHA, and environmental safety procedures and documentation requirements
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders in compliance with regulations
• Communicate repair status and technical information to supervisors and team members
• Work with hazardous and non-hazardous materials following proper handling protocols
• Support installation, setup, and calibration of equipment at customer or company sites
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems
• Collaborate with team to improve reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
