Heating and Air Conditioning Technician

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking a Heating and Air Conditioning Technician to service residential and light commercial customers. You will diagnose, repair, and install HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure code- and safety-compliant work. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot equipment issues, and recommend repair or replacement solutions
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and system tune-ups to improve performance
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Communicate findings, options, and estimates clearly to customers and answer questions
• Complete work orders, document services performed, and maintain accurate service records
• Collaborate with dispatchers and team members to prioritize and complete daily service calls
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and inventory in clean, safe working condition
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications to stay current with HVAC technology
• Provide on-call or after-hours emergency service as scheduled
