ARS-Rescue Rooter is hiring a Residential HVAC Tech to service, repair, and install heating and cooling systems for homeowners. In this field/onsite role, you'll diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and complete replacements while delivering excellent customer service. You'll follow safety standards, local codes, and company procedures, using your technical skills and tools to ensure system performance and comfort. Responsibilities

  • Perform residential HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems
  • Install and replace HVAC equipment, components, and accessories per manufacturer specs and local codes
  • Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, accurately troubleshooting customer issues
  • Communicate findings, options, and recommendations to homeowners in a clear, professional manner
  • Complete work orders, service tickets, and documentation using company systems and mobile tools
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies on every job site
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, organized, and operable condition
  • Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, and teammates to ensure timely, high-quality service
  • Participate in ongoing technical and safety training to stay current with HVAC standards and technology
  • Promote maintenance agreements and approved services that improve system performance and customer comfort
