Residential Service Technician

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking a Residential Service Technician - HVAC to join our Memphis-area team. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while delivering excellent customer service. You'll perform troubleshooting, tune-ups, and component replacements, following all safety and code requirements. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system performance checks.
• Install or replace HVAC components and equipment following company and code standards.
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations on service tickets.
• Educate customers on repair options, system performance, and maintenance plans.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies on every job.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, working condition.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure timely service.
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training to maintain and improve skills.
• Support on-call, after-hours, and weekend emergency service rotation as needed.
