CDL-A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight OTR and regionally
• Perform accurate pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip equipment inspections
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety and hours-of-service regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required trip documentation
• Manage reefer unit operation, including temperature settings and monitoring freight integrity
• Deliver freight on time while following assigned routes and schedules
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, safety, and customers regarding loads and schedules
• Secure and protect freight to minimize damage, claims, and product loss
• Follow company policies, procedures, and defensive driving practices at all times
• Represent K&B Transportation professionally on the road and at customer facilities
