Retail Sales Associate

House of Sport, an experiential DICK'S Sporting Goods concept, is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for Apparel. In this role, you'll engage athletes and families on our dynamic sales floor, delivering expert fit, style, and product recommendations across performance and lifestyle apparel. You'll support clinics, events, and immersive experiences, helping customers try, learn, and play. Responsibilities include customer service, merchandising, fitting room support, inventory upkeep, and cashier duties while modeling our inclusive, team-driven, community-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized apparel recommendations and product knowledge to athletes and families
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, size runs, and organized sales floors in apparel areas
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
• Support in-store experiences, events, and clinics by setting up apparel displays and gear
• Engage customers in fitting rooms, ensuring proper fit, function, and comfort for sports apparel
• Monitor inventory levels, restock apparel, and assist with tagging, folding, and markdowns
• Resolve basic customer issues and escalate complex situations to store leadership
• Collaborate with teammates across departments to deliver a seamless, community-focused experience
• Uphold loss prevention, safety, and company policies throughout the sales floor
• Support opening/closing tasks, including cleaning, zoning, and daily readiness of apparel areas
