Railyard Terminal Manager

ConGlobal is seeking a Railyard Terminal Manager to lead safe, efficient operations at a busy intermodal terminal. In this role, you will manage daily rail and container movements, coordinate with rail and trucking partners, and ensure strict adherence to safety and operating procedures. You will schedule and develop frontline teams, oversee equipment use and basic maintenance coordination, monitor performance metrics, and respond quickly to service issues. The position offers growth in operations leadership within a collaborative, safety-focused logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily railyard terminal operations to ensure safe, on-time container and railcar movements
• Supervise, schedule, and develop terminal staff in a 24/7 environment
• Enforce safety, regulatory, and operating procedures across all yard activities
• Coordinate with rail, trucking, and logistics partners to optimize throughput and service
• Monitor KPIs, troubleshoot delays, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee equipment and yard asset utilization, basic maintenance coordination, and inspections
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action plans
• Support budgeting, cost control, and resource planning for terminal operations
