Specialist Loss Prevention

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist Loss Prevention to protect people, assets, and brand reputation in a fast-paced retail environment. In this role, you'll monitor the sales floor and CCTV, investigate internal and external theft, and support shrink reduction through audits and inventory control. You'll partner closely with store leadership to execute loss prevention programs, train teammates on safety and compliance, and document incidents. Ideal candidates are observant, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering a safe, customer-first experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor, exits, and high-shrink areas to deter theft and fraud
• Conduct investigations into internal and external theft incidents
• Review CCTV and exception reports to identify suspicious activity
• Partner with store leadership to execute loss prevention programs and audits
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and shrink reduction initiatives
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain documentation
• Coordinate with law enforcement and corporate LP as needed
• Train teammates on loss prevention policies, safety, and compliance
• Engage customers and staff professionally while enforcing company standards
• Promote a safe, secure, and customer-focused store environment
