Retail Loss Prevention Lead

DICK'S Sporting Goods seeks a Retail Loss Prevention Lead to reduce shrink, protect assets, and promote safety in a fast-paced, athlete-focused environment. You will oversee daily LP operations, monitor activity on the sales floor and through CCTV, investigate internal and external theft, and partner with store leadership on audits and compliance. You'll train and coach teammates on safety and loss prevention best practices, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed reporting while supporting a positive, service-driven customer experience and our inclusive, community-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily loss prevention operations to reduce shrink and protect company assets in a high-volume retail environment
• Monitor store activity via floor presence and CCTV to identify theft, fraud, and policy violations
• Conduct internal and external theft investigations, including evidence gathering and incident reporting
• Partner with store leadership to implement loss prevention strategies, audits, and compliance checks
• Train and coach associates on loss prevention policies, safety procedures, and incident response
• Respond to theft and safety incidents, ensuring adherence to company and legal protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and loss trends for reporting
• Collaborate with law enforcement and corporate loss prevention teams as needed
• Support a strong customer service culture while balancing deterrence and security presence
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment aligned with company values and community standards
