Teammate Golf

Join DICK'S Sporting Goods as a Teammate Golf and help golfers of all levels find the right gear, apparel, and accessories. In this customer-facing retail role, you'll provide expert, friendly service, recommend products based on player needs, and support fittings and basic club services. You'll maintain clean, well-merchandised golf displays, process transactions, and support events and demos. We seek energetic, team-oriented associates with a passion for golf, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding in-store experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver knowledgeable, friendly service to golf customers on the sales floor and in specialty golf areas (clubs, balls, bags, tech).
• Assess customer needs and recommend equipment, apparel, and accessories tailored to skill level, budget, and goals.
• Maintain merchandising standards, restock product, set displays, and ensure signage and pricing are accurate in the golf department.
• Perform basic club services such as fitting support, adjustments, and coordinating with in-store golf services where applicable.
• Use POS systems to process sales, returns, and loyalty enrollments while protecting customer data and preventing loss.
• Stay current on golf product features, technology, and brand differences through ongoing training and self-learning.
• Support store events, demos, and community golf activities that drive traffic, sales, and brand loyalty.
• Work collaboratively with teammates across departments to meet sales goals, service metrics, and store standards.
• Follow all safety, loss prevention, and operational policies to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including receiving, tagging, cycle counts, and shrink reduction efforts in the golf area.
