Maintenance Mechanic, Lead

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages seeks a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to support high-speed bottling operations at our modern manufacturing plant. In this role, you will lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and utility equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and minimal downtime. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, coordinate daily work orders, and keep accurate CMMS records. Partner closely with production, quality, and safety teams while coaching junior mechanics and driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and bottling equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance work orders for the team
• Inspect, adjust, and repair conveyors, fillers, packaging, and utility systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and food safety standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, CMMS records, and parts usage
• Support installation, startup, and optimization of new equipment
• Train and mentor junior mechanics on procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to improve reliability
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects
