CDL A Port Driver

TransForce Inc. seeks experienced CDL A Port Drivers to support drayage operations for customers in the Transportation & Warehousing industry. In this role, you will handle container moves between ports, rail yards, and customer locations, following all DOT and port regulations. Responsibilities include safe operation of tractors, timely pickups and deliveries, accurate logs, and professional communication with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor for port and drayage moves
• Transport containers between ports, rail ramps, and customer locations on schedule
• Conduct thorough pre trip and post trip inspections and report defects
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT and port requirements
• Follow all safety, security, and port access procedures, including TWIC protocols where required
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Secure loads and verify container numbers, seals, and paperwork
• Adapt to changing port conditions, wait times, and dispatch instructions
• Represent Trans
