HVAC Service Tech 4

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech 4 to service, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems for retail, industrial, and mission-critical customers. In this field-based role, you'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support energy-efficient upgrades. You'll work in a safety-first, team-oriented environment with access to advanced tools, technical training, and clear paths for career growth while helping deliver reliable, high-performance HVAC solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend effective solutions
• Install, start up, and commission HVAC and refrigeration equipment per specifications
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Document work performed, parts used, and system readings accurately in service tickets
• Communicate findings and repair options clearly to customers and internal teams
• Follow company and OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineering teams on complex projects
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent service requests as needed
• Support energy optimization initiatives and upgrades to improve system performance
