Brass Music Teacher
Music & Arts seeks a Brass Music Teacher to provide inspiring private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach brass students of all ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, tone production, music reading, and performance skills. You'll create tailored lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and school performances, and communicate regularly with parents and educators. Working closely with store staff and school service reps, you'll help match students with the right instruments and accessories while supporting local music programs. Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group brass music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Develop customized lesson plans focusing on technique, tone, reading, and performance skills
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
- Support in store education and sales by advising students and parents on appropriate instruments and accessories
- Maintain accurate student progress records and lesson schedules
- Collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support local music education programs
- Ensure lesson spaces and instruments are well maintained and ready for instruction
- Participate in student recruitment, open houses, and other community outreach events

- Brass instrument performance (trumpet, trombone, horn, tuba, etc.)
