Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our Store 5905 team. In this on-site role, you will provide private and small-group lessons to students of all ages and levels, helping them build strong technical and musical foundations. You'll design engaging lesson plans, track progress, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. Working within our student-focused, collaborative culture, you'll partner with store staff to support lesson enrollment, recommend instruments and accessories, and contribute to a welcoming, community-driven retail and education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels in-store
• Develop lesson plans that align with student goals and Music & Arts teaching standards
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, school performances, and exams
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and progress records in company systems
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and student retention
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and learning materials that support student success
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and occasional store events or performances
• Uphold Music & Arts policies, brand standards, and customer service expectations
