Receiver

VISTAR, a leader in wholesale food and beverage distribution, is seeking a Receiver to handle non-formula products in our fast-paced warehouse. In this role, you will unload and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and product details against purchase orders, and accurately record receipts in warehouse systems. You'll label, organize, and store items safely, support inventory accuracy, and work closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities

• Receive incoming non-formula products and verify quantities and item details against purchase orders
• Inspect shipments for damage, quality issues, and correct documentation
• Accurately enter and update received inventory in warehouse systems or scanners
• Label, organize, and stage products in designated storage locations
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and shipping teams to resolve discrepancies
• Follow all safety, cleanliness, and food-handling standards in the warehouse
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or related material-handling equipment as authorized
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy
