Local CDL A Company Driver

HandledNow is hiring a Local CDL A Company Driver to support our Indianapolis-based logistics and warehousing operations. In this role, you will handle local and regional freight pickups and deliveries, focusing on safe, efficient, and on-time service. You will operate late-model equipment, perform daily inspections, secure and handle freight, and maintain accurate logs and paperwork. Working closely with dispatch, warehouse, and customers, you will represent HandledNow's culture of reliability, accountability, and teamwork while contributing to safe, customer-focused freight movement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate local CDL A tractor-trailers for pickups and deliveries
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and procedures
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Secure, load, and unload freight accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation using ELD or required systems
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Report incidents, delays, and equipment issues promptly
• Support warehouse operations as needed to keep freight moving
• Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training programs
