Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Music Teacher to provide high-quality in-store music instruction within our retail environment. In this role, you will deliver individual and group lessons to students of all ages, tailoring lesson plans to support school programs, auditions, and personal goals. You'll coach students for performances, advise families on instruments and accessories, and collaborate closely with store and school service teams. This position is ideal for passionate educators who thrive in a community-focused, student-first, and performance-oriented music retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels in-store.
• Develop lesson plans that align with student goals and school music programs.
• Prepare students for performances, auditions, and school ensemble participation.
• Advise students and parents on instrument selection, care, and accessories.
• Collaborate with store sales and school service teams to support education-focused retail goals.
• Maintain accurate student progress records, schedules, and attendance.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Participate in recitals, workshops, and community outreach events.
• Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of instruments and lesson spaces.
• Promote Music & Arts programs, rentals, and services to students and families.
