Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher for our retail store, providing private and small-group lessons to students of all ages and levels. In this role, you'll design engaging lesson plans, build fundamental skills and musicality, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. You'll partner with store staff to support enrollment and retention, communicate progress with parents, and help recommend appropriate instruments and accessories-all in a student-focused, collaborative, and community-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and track student progress toward goals
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school music activities
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment in lesson studios
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and materials to support learning
• Use store systems for scheduling, attendance, and basic record keeping
