Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll instruct beginner to intermediate students on band, orchestra, or related instruments, create engaging lesson plans, track student progress, and communicate with parents and school partners. Collaborating with store staff, you'll help support recitals, events, and student retention while promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment. Ideal candidates have teaching or performance experience and a strong commitment to music education and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to beginner and intermediate students
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student goals
• Assess and track student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with store staff to support events, recitals, and programs
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment
• Advise students and families on instruments, accessories, and learning resources
• Ensure studio spaces, instruments, and equipment are properly used and cared for
• Support student scheduling, attendance tracking, and retention efforts
