Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our Store 5502 location. In this on-site role, you'll teach students of all ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, and prepare students for recitals and school performances. You'll collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment, recommend instruments and accessories, and champion music education in the community. Ideal candidates have strong performance skills, prior teaching experience, and a student-focused, friendly approach aligned with our mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels in-store
• Develop lesson plans aligned with student goals and school music programs
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction methods and materials accordingly
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school ensemble participation
• Collaborate with store sales and lesson staff to support enrollment and retention
• Maintain accurate student schedules, attendance, and progress records
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and learning materials to students and parents
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Engage with local schools and educators to support music education initiatives
• Participate in occasional events, recitals, and store promotions
