Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and small-group lessons in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you'll help students of all ages build skills in performance, technique, and music theory while preparing them for recitals, school performances, and auditions. You'll collaborate with store and school service teams to support music education in the community and guide families on instrument selection and care. This part-time, on-site position is ideal for educators and performers who love teaching and want to grow in a mission-driven retail and education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop lesson plans that support student progress in performance, technique, and music theory
• Prepare students for recitals, school performances, and auditions
• Advise students and parents on instrument selection, care, and maintenance
• Collaborate with store sales and school service teams to support educational outreach
• Maintain accurate student attendance, progress notes, and scheduling records
• Participate in store events, workshops, and community outreach programs
• Uphold Music & Arts teaching standards, policies, and safety procedures
